Regional Account Manager - Southeast - Remote

The Regional Account Manager (Southeast) will develop and close sales opportunities in the large and booming commercial construction AEC market in the Southeastern United States. Candidate should have a working knowledge of BIM, virtual design, and construction technology Solutions. Candidate must be able to drive and meet/exceed quarterly quota. The job is remote and will cover all the Southeast region. Compensation is base & commissions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Discovering and closing sales opportunities in BIM coordination, modeling, and BIM consulting services, for General Contractors, MEP/F & framing contractors.

  • Achieving quarterly quota attainment goals.

  • Identifying, tracking, and developing new customers through networking events.

  • Attending events as needed to create new sales pipeline.

  • Participating in account reviews and forecasting.

  • Locating and developing new sales through existing customers.

  • Understanding the value of sales and services for product delivery.

  • Providing timely and accurate quotes to customers.

  • Keeping customer interaction records up to date with the defined CRM tool.

  • Giving high level product and services presentations as needed.

  • Driving sales through cold calling, email communication, in-person meetings.

  • Scheduling and making regular customer site visits.

  • Must be available and willing to travel within sales territory to meet clients as well as outside sales territory for conferences, tradeshows, team meetings, etc.

  • Assisting other team members in scheduling in-person meetings to assist in growing business.

  • Other duties as assigned or needed

Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum Education BA/BS or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum 5+ years selling consulting and professional services.

  • Minimum 2+ years of direct AEC consulting sales proficiency with construction industry sales experience preferred.

  • Understanding of the Southeast territory construction business is strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of construction industry and processes is required.

  • Capability to influence customers and partners and close deals to achieve quota.

  • Ability to identify customer needs and new business opportunities.

  • Good understanding of the value of utilizing a CRM software; able to balance other sales activities with CRM implementation.
